It all started in 1997 when Marie Moody adopted a dog named Stella from a local animal shelter. Wanting Stella to have a companion, Marie soon brought home a sick pup named Chewy. Determined to nurse Chewy back to health, Marie followed a veterinarian's advice and switched Chewy to a raw diet. The results were astounding—Chewy quickly recovered, and both dogs thrived on their new food. This transformative experience ignited Marie's passion for pet nutrition, leading her to create Stella & Chewy's.
